Alyssa Stoffer Director of Youth Ministry for Junior and Senior High Alyssa Stoffer was born and raised in Wayne, New Jersey and was baptized and confirmed at St. Timothy Lutheran Church where she has been an active member. She is a graduate of Montclair State University with a BA in Psychology. She was a Volunteer Youth Group Advisor for seven years. During that time she implemented and ran a program for youth in fourth through twelfth grades. Before coming to Colorado Springs in March, she attended class at General Theoglogical Seminary (Episcopal) in New York City, completing a course in storytelling to children and youth.
We welcome Alyssa to the staff of First Lutheran and look forward to her directing our youth ministry program. Alyssa begins her work the beginning of July. In the meantime, she will be helping with Vacation Church School and Youth Ministry.
Building, Reaching, Restoring the World to Christ We will actively share Christ's love by building up believers, reaching out to restore relationships with God, and providing assistance to a world in need. You don't want to miss out on any of the activities, I guarantee you! First Lutheran Youth Group is a gathering of youth in an Intentional Christian Community. Our Youth Group invites all youth to come as you are and join in our fellowship and community. The focus of Youth Group is to rise up the youth in our church as they are not just the future of our church, but the present.
The Senior Youth Group (grades 9-12) meets from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sundays. The last Friday of each Month we have a special night out called Final Friday!! Bring a Friend or TWO!!! |
