The First Lutheran Cancer Prayer Support Team is open to all who now face or have faced the challenges of cancer personally or among family or friends, or have a concern in any way for those who live with cancer and want to offer their support. Attend gatherings to participate in sharing and listening, learn from topic presentations, and most importantly, pray for and with those who request

our prayers.

The November meeting includes a presentation by Cindy Davis, a five year breast cancer survivor from Pueblo, who has spoken at several cancer patient gatherings. Her topic is “Tackling Fear through Faith.” Indicate your plan to attend on the Sunday sign-up sheet or contact Pastor Mark at 632-8836.

To be included in the list of those prayed for, use the sign up sheet in Sunday morning worship booklets or contact Pastor Mark by phone or voice mail at the church number, 632-8836. To respect confidentiality, only those who have given their permission to be on the list in this way will be prayed for by name. If you wish to be remembered in prayer, but not by name, let Pastor Mark know of your desire.

Ken Medema is a contemporary Christian musician, performer, and composer (probably best known for Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying). His lively, entertaining concerts are filled with uplifting humor, song, and engaging audience participation.

Tickets are $17.00 (checks made to First Lutheran). Order and pay with Pastor Mark by Sunday, November 7 for group seating. Ride together from church or drive yourself. We’ll pick a place for a snack after the concert. Sign up in church or call Pastor Mark at 632-8836.
