Text Box: Prayer for Those in Need The destructive tornado which blasted through Oklahoma City and five of its suburbs killed at least 21 people, including 9 children, especially in the Moore community. In addition at least 120 people were injured in one of the most horrific tornadoes in history. We join our prayers with those of our nation asking God’s mercy and support in this time of tremendous personal tragedy, suffering and need. We pray to you, Almighty God... You who are our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble. Do not let any be lost in the face of these events. Uphold each one in their confusion, and guide the actions of all who seek to be a redemptive presence in the midst of devastation. Heal the hurt, console the bereaved and afflicted, protect the innocent and helpless, and deliver any who are still in danger. May your Holy Spirit enable them to hear the words of faith that their fears may be dispelled, their loneliness eased, their anxiety calmed, and their hope reawakened. So lift them above their sorrow to the peace and light of your constant love and give them the hope that passes all human understanding; we ask and pray through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Inquiry Meeting II June 1, 10:00 am

Meet the staff and view a video presentation about the work and ministry of our congregation.

 

Instructional Meeting  June 3, 7:00 pm Meet with the pastor for an overview of the Christian faith from the Lutheran perspective.

 

Orientation Meeting June 5, 7:00 pm Come at 6:45 pm if you would like a tour of the campus.

 

Service of Inclusion June 9, 10:30 am

A reception follows at 11:30 am in the Gathering Place.

 

Sign up in church if you will be attending one of the new member Inquiry Meetings or are interested in sponsoring a new  member.
